The team at the Paws, Claws and Talons Foundation is gearing up for a weekend packed with community connection, unique finds, and direct support for local animals and their families. Mark your calendars for Friday, September 11th, and Saturday, September 12th! Both days, our doors will be open from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM for an event designed to bring neighbors together while raising essential resources for our ongoing programs. Whether you are hunting for vintage treasures, looking for custom handcrafted pet goods, or hoping to get a firsthand look at our educational garden setup, there is something lined up for everyone. To keep logistics smooth, the exact event address will be released on our official channels during the week of the event, so keep an eye out for that upcoming announcement.
Explore Garage Sale Finds and Handcrafted Goods
Every single dollar generated during this two-day event goes directly into funding the Paws, Claws and Talons Foundation pet food and supply center. We have organized an extensive garage sale selection that spans a wide variety of categories. Visitors can browse through clothing curated for all ages and genders, household items, seasonal decor, unique jewelry, and plenty of toys to keep children entertained. Tech enthusiasts and retro gamers alike will want to check out our media tables, which feature a blend of classic vintage video games and modern titles. For animal lovers, we have stocked a wide array of pet items suited for both furry companions and scaly family members. Beyond standard retail and donated goods, we are setting up a dedicated display table featuring our very own handcrafted creations available for purchase in person.
Sneak Peeks at Leafy Lodge and Volunteer Opportunities
Hosting this event at our Leafy Lodge location gives us a wonderful chance to share our physical progress with the community. Guests are invited to take a peeking tour of our newly assembled Leafy Lodge greenhouse, offering a clear look at how we prepare our plant and foraging initiatives before the winter season arrives. If you have been curious about how our programs operate or want to lend your skills to our mission, this is the perfect time to drop by. We will have informational packets and printed pamphlets ready for pickup, detailing our various projects and how local supporters can jump in as hands-on volunteers. From helping maintain our botanical spaces to assisting with community distribution, extra hands are always welcome.
Volunteer-Distributed Pet Food Pantry Services
Alongside the garage sale and garden tours, we will be running our supplementary pop-up pet food pantry throughout the event. We know that maintaining balanced diets for pets can sometimes put a strain on household budgets, and our goal is to help ease that burden wherever possible. Supply packages containing essential pet food and care items will be distributed directly by our team of dedicated Chaos Wranglers. These supplementary packages are available to anyone in need on a first-come, first-served basis each day, running continuously from 11:00 AM until daily stock is fully distributed.
We look forward to seeing new and familiar faces alike as we celebrate community, share our progress, and work together to support local pets and their families!
