A: At our heart, we are all about keeping life simple, sustainable, and happy for our animal companions. Our goal is to function as a community-powered hub that skips the fancy facility to focus entirely on direct, hands-on care. Whether we are crafting nutritious treats in the Morsel Menagerie, engineering fun puzzles, or providing mobile support through our Waggin’ Wagon, everything we do is designed to make life a little brighter for the pets we serve. We believe in being smart with our resources and creative with our care, ensuring that our energy goes straight to the animals who need it most.
Q: Where is your storefront located?
A: That is the best part—we do not have one! Choosing to operate without a physical, brick-and-mortar building is a deliberate and strategic decision for the Paws Claws and Talons Foundation. By staying mobile, we keep our overhead incredibly low, which allows every dollar we raise to go directly toward rescuing, feeding, and enriching our animal companions rather than paying rent or utilities for a space we barely use.
Q: How do I ask for help or support for a pet?
A: Getting in touch is easy, and we are ready to help. You can connect with us directly by calling, texting, or emailing; all of our contact details are conveniently listed on our official Facebook page. Feel free to reach out to us there or via Facebook Messenger, and you are always welcome to send a message through any of our other social media accounts. If you happen to be out and about in Hastings, keep an eye out for our business cards at Fluegel’s Lawn and Garden or at the Town and Country Vet office. Each card is packed with all the info you need to get connected with us.
Q: Where do my donations and materials go?
A: Every donation, whether it is a financial contribution or a physical supply, goes 100% back into the Paws Claws and Talons Foundation. When you donate, you have the option to specify exactly where your support goes—whether that is toward licensing, pet supplies, or our crafting materials. If you are not sure where to direct your gift, you can always choose “dealer’s choice,” allowing us to apply it where the need is greatest. Financial contributions are invested directly into our operations, while donated materials are put to work in our craft supplies, transformed into soil for our gardens, or repurposed into treats for the Morsel Menagerie. We ensure every contribution is used immediately to support our mission and the animals we serve.
