We believe every resident deserves a life of comfort, play, and full bellies. To make that happen, we accept a massive variety of donations to keep our biological engine running smoothly. If it’s safe, clean, and animal-related, we have a place for it!
Nutritional Essentials
We accept all varieties of sealed food for every species in our care. This includes dry kibble, canned wet food, and specialized diets for exotic residents. We are always looking for:
- Dog and Cat Food: High-quality kibble, paté, and pouches.
- Small Mammal Diet: Pellets for rabbits, guinea pigs, and rodents.
- Bird Seed and Suet: Blends for parrots, wild birds, and sanctuary residents.
- Reptile and Fish Food: Dried insects, algae wafers, and specialized pellets.
- Treats: Training morsels, dental chews, and botanical snacks.
Comfort and Bedding
A cozy nest is a happy nest. We take soft goods to keep our animals warm and secure. Please ensure these items are clean and free of heavy loose threads:
- Linens: Gently used blankets, bed sheets, and bath towels.
- Bedding: Pet beds, cooling mats, and insulated pads.
- Small Animal Needs: Fleece liners, Timothy hay, and nesting materials.
- Apparel: Pet sweaters, coats, and boots for our smaller or senior friends.
Play and Enrichment
Mental stimulation is just as important as physical health. We welcome items that keep brains busy and tails wagging:
- Hard Toys: Rubber Kongs, puzzle feeders, and cognitive games.
- Soft Toys: Plushies (with or without squeakers) and crinkle toys.
- Species-Specific Fun: Catnip toys, bird swings, and rabbit chew blocks.
- Active Gear: Tennis balls, fetch launchers, and agility tunnels.
Hygiene and Care
Keeping the kingdom clean is a big job. We accept supplies for grooming and habitat maintenance:
- Grooming Tools: Brushes, combs, nail clippers, and shedding blades.
- Bathtime: Pet-safe shampoos, conditioners, and ear cleaning solutions.
- Bathroom Supplies: Litter boxes, scoops, puppy pads, and waste bags.
- Health and Safety: Unopened flea/tick preventatives and pet first-aid supplies.
Habitat Accessories
Help us build the perfect home for our diverse residents by donating hardware and furniture:
- Containment: Crates, carriers, playpens, and travel bags.
- Furniture: Cat trees, scratching posts, and hidey-holes.
- Feeding Gear: Stainless steel bowls, slow feeders, and water fountains.
