The Site Stewardship Audit: Is Your Property a Node?

Before reaching out to our team, we ask that you conduct a brief self-audit of your property. We are looking for “hidden” assets—areas that are currently underutilized and isolated from your daily living spaces.

If you can answer “Yes” to the criteria in any of these three categories, you have the foundation for a Bio Husbandry Node.

I. The Engine Node (Bio Husbandry & The Bug Bar)

This is the scientific core where our Growers and Alchemists work. It requires environmental alignment but remains entirely self-contained.

  • Solar Exposure: Does the footprint have clear southern exposure? We require 6–8 hours of sunlight for our botanical protocols.
  • The Footprint: Is there a level 10×12 or 12×20 patch of ground? This can be grass, gravel, or an old concrete pad.
  • The Shelter Check: Do you have a dry corner in a barn, a remote shed, or a three-sided lean-to? This area must remain dry during heavy rain to protect the Bug Bar bioreactors.
  • Isolation Factor: Is the spot “out of sight and out of mind” from your patio, porch, or primary social zones?

II. The Resource Node (Zero-Cost Pantry Storage)

This is our “prestigious pantry”—a clean, organized station for shelf-stable resources. It must be dry, secure, and accessible for our Outreach team.

  • Structure Quality: Do you have a sturdy, weather-tight outbuilding or a dedicated, empty garage bay?
  • Internal Environment: Is the space free of heavy dampness, leaks, or active pest infestations? We maintain a high standard for our community resources.
  • Logistics Access: Can our team move crates from a vehicle to the storage area without crossing through your private yard or gardens?
  • Security: Can the space be locked or secured when our team is not on-site?

III. The Circulatory Node (Van Distribution Siding)

Our mission requires a professional “home base” for our distribution van. This keeps our resources moving and our “Liquid Gold” reaching the community.

  • The Parking Footprint: Do you have a gravel pull-off, a wide driveway shoulder, or a high-clearance carport (minimum 9-foot clearance)?
  • Surface Stability: Is the ground firm enough to support a heavy transit van year-round, including during wet or muddy seasons?
  • Strategic Proximity: Is this parking spot located near an existing storage area or one of the other Nodes mentioned above?
  • Off-Street Safety: Is the spot tucked away from the main road to ensure the vehicle and its contents remain secure?

The “Zero-Nuisance” Guarantee

Our presence on your property is designed to be invisible to your daily life. Every Node must pass the following stewardship standards:

  1. Noise: Our work is quiet; the only sounds are the occasional van arrival or the low hum of a small ventilation fan.
  2. Privacy: We establish specific access paths that ensure our team never interferes with your personal home life.
  3. Aesthetics: We keep our Nodes clean, organized, and professional. We treat your property with the prestige it deserves.

Does your property pass the audit? If you have identified a match, we are ready to talk. Please message us to schedule a brief site visit. We will walk the siding with you to confirm the footprint and discuss the Site Steward Agreement.
