Resource Distribution Protocols: Hastings Sector

The Mission: Ecosystem Stability Our objective is to ensure the biological stability of Hastings households by providing the necessary “Hardware” and “Nutrient Rations” to keep animals in their established home environments. These protocols ensure the equitable distribution of the Engine’s limited yields.

I. Nutritional Rations (Canine & Feline) To supplement existing household supplies, each verified Hastings residence may be allocated the following bio-available rations:

  • Canine Assets: Up to 10 lbs of dry matter.
  • Feline Assets: Up to 5 lbs of dry matter.

II. Specialized Species & Sector G Yields Support for exotic and small mammals is managed by the Lead Steward of Sector G and the Living Systems team.

  • Botanical Support: Fresh greens, Timothy hay, and species-specific pellets for rabbits, guinea pigs, and ferrets are distributed based on the current seasonal yield of Sector G.
  • Ectothermic & Avian Requirements: Support for reptiles, fish, and birds is considered “Limited Infrastructure” and is distributed only when the Material Synthesis team has acquired the specific biological inputs (feeder insects, frozen diets, or aquatic stabilizers).

III. Residency & Access Protocols

  • Sector Validation: Participation is strictly reserved for residents within the Hastings sector. A valid institutional ID or proof of residency is required for all data preservation logs.
  • Household Synchronization: We provide one allocation per biological household. For complex multi-animal environments, please consult a Narrative Liaison to discuss a customized stability plan.

IV. Population Control & Stewardship Ethics

  • Breeding Policy: The Foundation does not provide resources to support intentional breeding operations.
  • Accidental Litters: In the event of an unplanned biological expansion, our Caretakers will provide a private consultation to connect the household with spay/neuter resources and rescue transitions.
  • Foster Integration: Households currently serving as satellite units for other organizations should prioritize those entities for primary nutrient support.

V. Integrity of the Engine To maintain the sustainability of our yields, participants agree to responsible stewardship. This includes:

  • Maintaining a stable animal count (no additional assets should be acquired with the expectation of Foundation support).
  • Prohibiting the unauthorized redistribution of Foundation yields to third parties.
  • Mismanagement of these protocols may result in a temporary suspension of access to the Engine.

VI. Community Colonies (Feral & Outdoor Assets) Stabilization for community colonies is handled on a case-by-case basis by the Living Systems team. Substrate Bio-engineers manage the deployment of climate-controlled shelters and straw bedding as the physical framework allows.

VII. Emergency Intervention If a household is facing a systemic collapse or unique biological emergency, please bypass standard pop-up events and contact the Chief Architect directly for an expedited Resource Protocol.
